Meet our Team

Marty McCall

Owner

Marty McCall and his wife Michelle own and operate Cattleya European Floral and the Jacksonville staple, Kuhn Flowers. He brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in the floral industry, but most importantly, a steadfast dedication to enriching our community with the charm of gorgeous fresh flowers and exceptional service.

Flowers run in the family. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, he's watched the city continue to bloom into the bustling community it is today. Inspired by the passion his late Mother (a celebrated Florida florist and businesswoman) possessed for the flower industry, he paved a unique path all his own. Beginning with owning a wholesale plant and flower company for many years eventually led him to work for one of the nation's premier wholesalers.

However, several years ago, he could not pass up the opportunity to purchase Kuhn Flowers, a place close to his heart. He spent years cultivating a relationship with the original owners and selling them their flowers. But even more remarkable is the connection to his late mother, who worked at Kuhn's briefly before starting her flower shop. The Cattleya Orchid, synonymous with grace and strength and a favorite of his Mother's, is embodied in every detail of this latest endeavor. With his business acumen, mastery of flower facts, and devotion to his employees and family, Mr. McCall is a trusted source for any of your floral needs, no matter how big or small.

Michelle Morgan

Owner | Designer

Michelle's floral journey began as a young girl in her native home in the UK; after studying extensively for seven years and gaining over eight full-time government floral qualifications, Michelle achieved two of the highest floristry qualifications recognizable in Europe. She is a part of the  B tech national diploma society and holds an intermediate certificate in floristry. Michelle continued to share her knowledge when she took a teaching role at a The Hub at Doncaster College and University Centre in her hometown in northern England, where she was responsible for training over 4,000 students at all levels, helping them gain some of the most prestigious qualifications across Europe.

Michelle has been fortunate enough to work alongside some of the finest floral designers and educators across Europe and the world. While leading her students to win gold medals at prestigious flower shows, she had a golden opportunity to design florals for the British royal family. In addition, she was part of a team that decorated the White House.

In 2008 Michelle and her family decided to embark on a new venture when they moved across the pond to the United States. Her passion for education and her love of the floral industry continued to grow, and in 2013 Michelle was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers, AIFD. Michelle is one of the few people to hold some of the highest recognizable floral qualifications both in Europe and the USA.

Michelle's career path changed direction when she began working in a corporate environment for a significant floral wholesaler responsible for overseeing millions of dollars of sales. In 2008, Michelle bought a busy flower store which she still owns, and in 2016 bought one of the largest flower stores in the United States, Kuhn Flowers. She has recently opened five more stores across Florida and employs over 65 full-time employees. Michelle has dedicated most of her success to her love for teaching and learning. Michelle encourages everyone to step out of their comfort zone and follow their floral dreams.
